Special Presentation Event January 14, 2017 at LAX’s Sheraton Gateway

Plano, TX – January 10, 2017 – The C-Section Recovery Center (CSRC), the first and only massage therapy clinic to specialize in the relief of chronic pain and dysfunction for women who have experienced a c-section surgery, will present to the Los Angeles chapter of the International Cesarean Awareness Network (ICAN) in Los Angeles, CA on January 14, 2017, 11:30 am – 1:30 pm PST at the Sheraton Gateway at LAX Airport.

ICAN’s Special Presentation event will be available to both members and non-members of ICAN of Los Angeles. Most ICAN members include mothers who have undergone a c-section surgery. The event will be opened up to others in the area who have an interest in CSRC and the recovery process from c-sections. CSRC will provide information on the effects of c-section surgeries, reviewing both common and uncommon symptoms that they have seen in clients over many years of massage therapy. The presentation will include the review of specific massage therapy techniques and the resulting relief provided to women recovering from both recent and old c-section surgeries. The presentation will also include specific instructions on self-care techniques that attendees can continue to use indefinitely, and end with a live demo on one of the attendees.

“We are excited for the opportunity to share our progress with members of ICAN, a trusted and extremely reputable organization providing women with education and tools to make the best decisions for both future childbirth and recovery,” said John James, CSRC Co-Founder and CEO. “We look forward to sharing techniques for self-healing and educating through a live treatment that will better demonstrate how CSRC specifically addresses trauma experienced by women who have had a c-section.”

ICAN is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve maternal-child health by preventing unnecessary cesareans through education, providing support for cesarean recovery, and promoting Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC). For more information on ICAN of Los Angeles please visit
